Quick Updo: Twisted Topknot

 

Bad hair day? No worries! Here is a quick and simple updo. Perfect for work, school, or even a date.

 

 

What You'll Need:

• anti-frizz creme
• teasing comb
• hair tie
• bobbypins (optional)
• headband or hair accessory (optional)

 

How to:

1. Gather hair into a high ponytail (do not fasten!)
2. Twist gathered hair and swirl hair to form a bun on top of your head.
3. Secure bun with hair tie. Add a bobbypin or two if you please.
4. Add a headband or simple hair accessories to give your look a little something.

Easy Hair and Makeup in Under 30 Minutes

I had today off of work, so I decided to just do a simple and natural hair and makeup look. Super quick and easy to do.

 

For Hair:

• curling iron
• herbal essences anti-frizz serum
• hair clip

For Makeup:

•  almay smartshade foundation
• covergirl loose face powder
• bronzer
• blush
• volumizing mascara
• liquid pen eyeliner
•  light brown eyeshadow
• nude lipstick or chapstick

Steps:

1. While curling iron heats, apply anti-frizz serum to hair. Pull hair away from your face using the hair clip.
2. Start makeup routine. Apply foundation to face. Conceal dark circles and blemishes you need to. Apply face powder afterwards.
3. Take bronzer and apply it to hollows of cheeks. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks.
4. Take eyeshadow and apply to eyelids. Use eyeliner and draw a thin line along your lashes. Use mascara and coat eyelashes (2-3 coats should do the trick!)
5. Last, apply nude lipstick or chapstick and make sure to use a blending brush or cotton ball to remove any makeup lines on jawline/neck.
6. By now the curling iron should be ready for use. Remove hair clip and curl hair.
7. Once you are finished curling your hair, run fingers through it and shake curls out.

And now you are ready for the day!
